Today was a lonnnng day, we pretty much just cleaned up the yard (front and back) from the residue left from the storm (which was pretty much just a whole LOT of pinecones, pineneedles, and branches).
I was so tired when we were finished I napped for about 4 hours o_O
School isn't back on until Wednesday, ahaha, so I don't back to school until Thursday. Awesome. :)

lol that storm didn't even touch us pretty much. We played Madden and Third Strike all through the night and didn't give a damn about the storm, woke up at 10:30 am, and was like,"Oh right, there was a hurricane."
There's just a bunch of leaves all over the place, and the clouds are gray. Media hype? Iono. I sure was surprised that 'cane moved so much.

Hurricane is coming!
I'm kinda scared, but at the same time I feel kinda safe. It's wierd ya know? It's impossible to get out: Texas is too big of a state, you'd probably have to go out of state to get a hotel, and by then, it'd probably be 2 days after the storm hit simply because of traffic.
I have some family here now that left for our house at 10 pm last night, and they arrived at our house today at 3pm this afternoon. They live 45 miles away from our house. Yes, the traffic is that bad. So how is it possible to get out of the city? I dont know. All I know is, I wouldn't want to be in a car in the middle of the storm.
This shit is crazy, never seen anything like it hit Houston. Allison doesn't really count I guess, well, I guess it does, but I don't recall mass evacuations and such.
Wish me luck. Peace. One.

I got HP book 6 earlier this morning..at 12 to be precise. I got it at wal mart, and there was a line, I was one of the first in line (somehow). They made cake for the occasion. A cake. Why? Was it someone's birthday? They also gave out glasses, and a lightning scar tattoo. What was the craziest thing you saw when you were waiting to get your HP book? Was it embarassing? I sure was embarassed.
I WANT SOME STORIES! >:(

Action posed an excellent question in his journal:
Why do super heroes insist on wearing capes? Practically speaking, they don't serve any real purpose.... well, Bats can use his like a hang glider, but generally speaking, they would get in the way more than anything else. Can you imagine if one of them got their cape caught on like a fire escape or something and choked to death? Or if one tried to run away and you just stepped on their cape?
It's true! Why do they? Make any half assed or witty remark you can think of. o_O

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince comes out today, pretty excited.
Since I've gotten out of school, I've just lounged around the house, I swear I don't feel like doing jack squat, unless I'm going outside for a walk. I don't know why, I planned on going to the work source today, but I'm starting to feel it's useless because it's far too late to get a job now (possibly?), but I still need one for a car. :(
It's been a week since the attack on London. Tony Blair is utterly shocked that the bombers could have been of UK descent. Oh shit! THIS MEANS WE'RE GOING TO POSE A WAR ON TERROR AGAINST ENGLAND. Oh wait, didn't Timothy McVeh (sp) help blow up the Oklahoma City Bombing? Isn't he from America? WAR ON AMERICAN TERRORISM! Naw. It'll never happen. We don't wage war against white people! If you are from Britain, is everything alright over there? Are all your friends safe? *points to Emma* I know you live in London!
So, while I'm wasting away, waiting for this book to come out, I've decided what I want to eat for about 4 hours now. I haven't eaten all day! I'm also comtemplating this college: Landmark College, in Vermont. It's a college that helps out people with learning disabilities and so forth, I am quite interested in it. www.landmark.edu

Paul Mooney was great. Mom and I went to see him on Friday at the Improv comedy club. He was funny the majority of the time, but abuot 75% through the show, it kinda died down and got dull. Probably because I tired as fuck because it was well past 1. The show was ORIGINALLY supposed to start at 10, but it was delayed by atleast an hour. Ugh. It was worth it though because I got an autographed copy of Paul Mooney's "Analyzing White America", which I have seen, but it's so funny that I can't say no to having an autographed copy of it.
Lots of things are changing, I've pretty much figured out that most of my friends for the most part are dead beats or need some serious guidance. I'm really worried about Luis for example, I heard that Luis, Mike, Kenneth, and a friend of Ken's went to AKON all in the same car. Luis was being supposedly annoying by acting like a little child about the con, since he was on security and knew about all the activities..or something. Anyway, he tells them that he doesn't want to hang out with them anymore after that because he "doesn't know what to talk about with them anymore." Wait, what? Did he say this because they aren't geeks who fap off to hentai all day? Who have something to talk about aside from anime? Wait, what's going on here? For the record, Luis's new bunch of friends he's become acquitanted with from Kingwood College, are doing things for the worst, not the better, for him in general. Like one of them, who's a hentai freak person named Eric (last time I saw him, he had a backpack and a bunch of "Hentai-otaku" badge things on it, what the fuck?),who's got Luis smoking now. Luis was fired from his job at AMC for being late, he said he was going to go back to AMC and talk to his boss, but he never did. He then said he got a job at SEARS in the mall on the spot, turns out Ken says he got a job at Casa Ole' on the spot. There's definitely a...problem here, am I right? From what I hear, all he does now is stay home, play WoW, and download anime, sitting in a spiral with a major lack of self determination. For the most part, it seems that most of the people I hung out with in HS are changing for the worst. So, to counteract this, I've decided to stop talking with those people who I feel, are detrimental to my sucess. Maybe some will think I'm being heartless, but I don't. I think it's necessary. I need to find a new group of people to talk to because the current group isn't working out. Pretty much everyone has changed except a select few.
Still no job. I haven't given up though, I'm going to The Work Source now, those bitches had best give me a job! -.-
Tomorrow's the last day of this summer school session at Kingwood, I'm not going to the second session.
I think I need to blog more. lol For now on, you can expect more updates from me. I'm going to start talking about what's going on in the news and so forth, to make things more interesting. How about a weekly "What happened this week" entry regarding all the news I've encountered? Sounds good to me. I'm going to make a gaming blog too, I figured, if I'm going to practice making comments on articles I read from the news, I might as well do it on gaming as well since I'm interested in gaming journalism.

I am tired of this. I have applied to over 25 places, no calls at all yet. What's the deal? My resume is above average, I have an very open work time slot unless school's in the way, I'm willing to work nights, holidays, weekends;etc. but no calls. Whatever, I'll do some freelancing on the side, so if anyone needs some graphics or something, hit me up. I will charge depending on what you want but I swear to you it will be cheap.
I designed the site for my church, I'm getting the hosting plan together and such. Hosting's gotten a lot cheaper over the years: 5 gig space w/ 10 gig monthly bandwidth usage for 4.95? Goddamn, that used to cost atleast 30-50 bucks per month just 3-4 years ago.
I've been pretty bored, all I've been doing recently is studying for summer school and trying to get a job. Oh, and reading the absolutely, fundamentally, cult-tastic, and hilariously amazing Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I haven't really hanged out with anyone much yet, the exception being a week or so ago when I went to the Improv theatre with a friend who came with me from college. I saw Kenddel Mosely at the college the other day when he went up there with his mom (supposedly to get his classes ready for the fall). It was odd because I haven't really had a convo with Kendle in almost 4 years, and right when we greeted eachother it was like we were old buddies again (because we were, especially in middle school). I guess graduating from HS does that to you, I especially, feel really friggin old. I went up to HHS the other week to get a transcript for KW college..it was like I haven't been there in years. Scary ass shit.
Summer school is fun though, it's nice seeing people I grew up with there, it feels like HS..except not. It's wierd. Kingwood College is cool though. The math class I'm taking is really.."wtf" though, primarily because the first chapter goes through addition, subtraction, multiplicatio, division;etc and this is a college book. wtf? Whatever, as long as I get an easy A+.
I'm going to work on getting my associate's degree in graphic design over here at kingwood, so when I transfer out to another University I can get a decent to good amount of cash since a lot of places will hire you if you have associate's (if you're in the graphic design area that is). From there I'll work on my bachelors and other major (yes, I decided to double major): Journalism. I'm working on my journalism. I am a pretty preficient essay writer, I can write articles, but I need to perfect it so I'm reading pretty much every thing in the paper and in random magazines these days. Wish me luck.
Oh, and Paul fucking Mooney is going to be at the Improv Theatre July 7-10. If you don't know, that man is my damn hero. If you want to go, and if you're white, don't mind a little pro-black and racial profiling on..well...on you, then give me a ring. Or something. Because Paul Mooney rocks. I mean, he's the mastermind behind Homie the Clown (from the classic In Living Color) and Negrodamus (from Chappelle's Show). Come on!
"Everything we like, the white people will come and take it. They took Michael Jackson, Mike Tyson; though they gave him back... I tell my fans, no-now, don't be *too* fond of me, or they'll come and take me*
LMFAO

Called UPS yesterday because it turns out the RDU police called saying that they had my wallet and all we had to do was call ups to come pick it up and ship it off. I called and got some lady who was ridiculous, the whole time she was like,"I need the address to the place" while I keep replying I don't know, it's in Raleigh, NC..Raleigh / Durham airport. I even looked it up on the net for the address and gave her the zip. "I need the address!", I eventually hung up and called back for someone else. My wallet should get here Monday. ^^;
I went job hunting yesterday, got alot of applications..I'm going to a lot of the surrounding stores in my area and ask for applications..I noticed that at gamestop when I said I wanted a job the assistant manager was like,"omg here's your application, send it in to me asap and we'll see" o_O So today after the funeral I'm going to the mall and hand in these applications..I'll dressed up already so I can make a good impression.
I hear Target is hiring, it's right by me but it's not really walking distance either.

I got back from Intercontinental yesterday, nice trip. My psp lasted the trip to the airport, the wait for the plane, and the trip to Houston..wow! What a battery!
I talked with my parents and told them I did not want to go to Barton next year, they said it was my decision. I'm staying here, home, Houston..Humble whatever you want to call it but I'm staying. A smile quickly crosses both ends of my face. I'm going to get a job and pay/attend Kingwood College. In order to this I have to get a car first for transportation (:)!!). So I'm job hunting already. I'm taking the fact that I'm out of school way earlier than these HS kids to heart, so I have a bigger chance of getting a job (hopefully!). Now the hard part is find a job that pays well, I don't really mind doing hard work. Hmmmm.
I'm going to a friends funeral tomorrow. I haven't seen him in..in years but I always looked up to him. He went to Kingwood High and played basketball, he was good enough to go pro really. It was his graduation year too..I was really hoping I'd see him at the draft. He died last week, apparently from natual causes but I refuse to believe that considering how healthy he was. I mean what the fuck? Natural causes? Bullshit. This is the first death I've really cared about since my best friend died in 7th grade but the feelings not really sinking in yet, probably because I haven't seen him in years. It's going to be a tearful Saturday though..I need a haircut for the occasion.
Interesting things:
1. Pete and Pete is out on dvd. Me and some friends went to FYE yesterday and asked when they were expecting it (because we know it's out this month just not sure what day), and the guy said it was *out*..but they didn't recieve it yet. Odd. If anyone has this lemme know how it is. 2. Johnny looks cool with the way his hair is now. 3. Anyone want to go to a club in Downtown this weekend? :{ 4. I left my wallet at the security thing at the airport. I was in a rush because my flight was at 2:00 (supposedly...-_- But it turns out it was 2:15) and it was 1:50, security had a longggggggggggg ass line (longer than usual), and some idiot in front of me was taking forever with his belongings. Dude leaves his laptop inside some bag and takes 5 minutes to take it out, and then forgets his keys in his pockets, wallet;etc. Fucking jerkoff. I put my stuff in my backpack and pockets and forgot my wallet in one of the bowls. I emailed them...they had best recovered it or I'm in deep shit. My debit card is in there, I'm going to have to cancel service just in case. Hopefully it turns up and they put itin the lost and found. 5. Common's new album BE is released May 24th, 2005. Peep it if you want real hip hop!

Is dropping out really all that bad? What if you do it to follow your dreams? What if I never wanted to go to college in the first place? Am I old and wise enough to make such an important decision? But at the same time I don't want to be a statistic, but should I really keep doing this if I feel like I'm destined for failure? Decisions, the questions, what to do and what do I say to those who trust me? Do I take the plunge or do I tread through the water?

I love music, especially uplifting music that can change my mood in just a matter of minutes because of the lyrical content, I think that music is pretty damn powerful. Wow, that was cheesy...Disney type of shit, yeah!
Things I say and do, may not come quite through My words may not convey just what I'm feeling
And your hero's using your mind as a canvas to paint fear With, broad brush strokes and tales of incarceration You get out of jail with that Knowledge of Self determination Stand in ovation, cause you put the Hue in Human Cause and effect, effect everything you do and that's why I got love in the face of hate Hands steady so the lines in the mental illustration is straight The thought you had don't even contemplate Infinite like figure eight there's no escape

This is the last week of school. Finals week. I'm really worried...I have to make some good grades on my finals or I may face academic suspension because of my first semester, which fucked me up good (damn math class). I also have to get packed..I have to pack up everything in my room, I need some boxes. I'm really worried..if I don't do good on my finals I may face having to get my own apartment and paying for bills and community college because my parents say they aren't going to shelter me if something like that happens. I'm prepared for it I think, but at the same time...you know I wouldn't really care if I'm not allowed to come back to this school this fall. I mean seriously, I can't stand this place, this morning I woke up and these people had apparently doused my door with soap (wtf). I will miss some people though..but still, why should I worry about bull shit like that, this is for my future. I'm really confused, don't know what I should do really. All I know is that past weekend I've put in about 10 hours of studying, I just hope I'm prepared..

Finals start in a month. I'm preparing myself to get a 100 on my math final (the grade you get replaces every grade you recieved in the clss if it's higher than them) already.
So like, the other night I was just chilling in my room playing SSX3 for a few minutes before I head out and hang out with the guy's on the floor, and this guy J (don't know his real name) started banging on my door and calling my name. He wanted to play my PS2 for GTASA, and since I was about to go and beause I was *also* playing SSX3 (and with the knowledge that he would stay in my room for 4-6 hours playing it if he could - he's a moocher who uses people, quite common here at this campus) I just decided to act like I'm not in there. He continued banging, and then he started to scream my name like he was dying (...), and suddenly the bangs and noises stopped. A few minutes later I heard a knock on my *window*, J was on the fucking window seal knocking. He climbed all the way from his room to my room window..OUTSIDE ON THE SECOND FLOOR WINDOW..SIDE..CURB SEAL THING TO PLAY A VIDEO GAME. I called him a crazy ass nigga (yes, he was black. Lame? Ya. But then, I guess us Blacks need this ability to rob vcr's from people easily!) and he went to his room and came back a few minutes later knocking. I just let him *borrow* my ps2 to make him stfu. I live with crazy ass people. I'm now scared to leave my room or sleep because I fear someone's going to walk on the window seal thing and break into my room.
Whatever. SSX3 owns though, definitely the most fun I've had with the genre since Tony Hawk 2.
I have a report to make on the Terri Schiavo situation in political science on Thursday. Wish me luck.
Oh, and I decided to double major graphic design studio art *and* journalism :} I think posting on forums allowed me to realize I just like reporting news and shit. Hah.
Common's BE is an amazing album. If any of you like hip hop buy this album May...24th or whatever day it comes out. It has 9 songs produced by Kanye West. I love that dude, doing good shit for this game, and letting underground artists get attention because of his fame. Especially conscious guys like Common.

I work as a monitor at a computer lab here on campus. I got the job 2 weeks ago,and..wow, I'm surprised at how stupid people are. This person went up to me after looking at the computer for 5 minutes and said it wasn't working, turns out the computer wasn't even on! WOW HOW COULD YOU MISS THAT STEP?!
If I have to tell someone how to get task manager up using ctrl + alt + del I will snap.
